A mudslide slide into Yellow Lake and spewed debris across the highway.
A section of Highway 3A at Yellow Lake will continue to be closed on Sunday afternoon.
Crews are still on scene working to clean up the mudslide that slid right over the road and into the lake.
The slide occurred about 19 kilometres northeast of Keremeos at about 7 a.m. on Friday.
DriveBC said there is no estimated time of opening.
“Detour at Keremeos junction use Highway 3 to Highway 97 and Kaleden junction use Highway 97 to Highway 3,” reads a statement.
The next update from DriveBC will be provided at 4 p.m. on Monday.
