The public is invited to the Okanagan Similkameen Conservation Alliance's annual general meeting next week.
The AGM takes place on Thursday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Cowork Penticton, located at 129 Nanaimo Avenue.
The first half of the meeting will include reports on last year's 20th annual Meadowlark Festival, as well as several outdoor education programs and tours the Alliance holds in the South Okanagan.
There will also be a video called 'Changing Landscapes,' showing landscapes in the region from the past 100 years. The video was a Canada 150 project last year.
Afterwards, the board of directors for 2018 will be confirmed and related business matters will be heard. That part of the AGM will be optional for people who aren't current nor potential board members.
