Arrested with meth in car

An Oliver man has been arrested with methamphetamine in his vehicle.

At roughly 11 a.m. on Feb. 15, Oliver RCMP were in the middle of routine proactive patrols when they pulled over a vehicle with a burnt-out taillight.

After further investigation, the driver, 37-year-old Jeremy Hargreaves, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine.

He was also charged with a "failure to comply with a condition of undertaking," meaning he was in control of the car without the registered owner present.

Hargreaves will appear in court in Penticton Tuesday.
