There's going to be a new sheriff in town at KVR Middle School — or at least, a new acting vice-principal.
School District 67 has announced that Michelle Glibbery will assume the role of acting vice-principal for the period of April 21, 2018 to June 30, 2019.
Previously, Glibbery worked as both a counsellor and an English teacher at Penticton Secondary School. She was also a career programs facilitator for three years with the school district.
In addition to these job-related experiences, Glibbery will bring skills learned as a member of the District 67 Crisis Response Team to her new position.
Glibbery has a master of education degree in counselling from the University of Victoria, and bachelors degrees in education and English from the University of British Columbia.
