The latest episode of the globally-popular car show, The Grand Tour, features Oliver's Area 27 private speedway and Apex Mountain Ski Resort outside of Penticton
The trio of Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond — formerly of the BCC’s Top Gear — were spotted in the South Okanagan last October, reportedly staying at the Penticton Lakeside Resort.
In the episode, the three test SUV’s at Area 27 and on Apex Mountain.
After taking laps on the track, the three show hosts towed small boats up ski runs to test the vehicles.
"It was wild... but a lot of work," Apex general manager James Shalman said.
