CSSHL finals returning

Tickets are now on sale for the 2018 Canadian Sport School Hockey League Championships in Penticton.

The event March 9 to 18 will see champions crowned in all seven CSSHL divisions and marks the fourth consecutive year Penticton has hosted.

“The CSSHL is proud to once again partner with Spectra to bring the BDO CSSHL Championships back to Penticton,” said Kevin Goodwin, chief operating officer of the CSSHL.

“To see the economic impact that this event brings to the city is extraordinary and it would not be possible without the support from the City of Penticton, Travel Penticton, BDO Canada and the Western Hockey League.”

The event has grown from 33 teams and 609 athletes in 2015 to 68 teams and 1,200 athletes in 2017.

Last year’s event generated $2.9M economic impact for the City of Penticton, while the 2018 edition is expected to generate over $3.1M .
