Highway 3 is now open to traffic.

DriveBC is estimating Highway 3 will reopen east of Princeton around 6 p.m.
The road is closed while crews remove a crashed semi-truck from the Similkameen River.
A detour for all traffic is available via Old Hedley Road.

Highway 3 is closed in both directions east of Princeton while crews work to remove a semi-truck from the banks of the Similkameen River.
The highway is closed about 15 kilometres east of town, but a detour is available via Old Hedley Road.
It's believed the truck has been on the river bank since it crashed on Thursday, near Bromley Rock.
There is no estimated time of reopening. DriveBC says its next update is due at 3:00 p.m.
