Shinedown to play SOEC

American rock band Shinedown is headlining the annual Power 104 Powerball with In This Moment, One Bad Son and 10 Years on March 27 at the South Okanagan Events Centre in Penticton.

Shinedown is touring in support of their latest album, Threat to Survival, featuring lead single “Cut the Cord”  — which has shot to #1 on rock radio.

“There’s always been a certain level of positivity with Shinedown — that’s even where our name came from,” says lead vocalist Brent Smith.

“There’s a sense that everything that’s bad has a little bit of good to it, just like everything that’s good has a little bit of bad. The songs on this album address the reality that we’re all going to die at some point and that sometimes the willingness to survive is all you have.”

Tickets go on sale Friday 10 a.m. for $39.50 and $59.50.
