RCMP Update

The man wanted for breaking the conditions of his bail by leaving Fort Nelson earlier in the week has been caught.

RCMP arrested 39 year old Norman Allan Ferguson on Thursday evening in Prince George. Ferguson was charged in Penticton with the violent assault of his wife and step-daughter in April. Part of his bail conditions was that he not leave Fort Nelson and have no further contact with his wife or step-daughter.

He was arrested without incident in the vicinity of the Prince George Hospital. The Penticton RCMP detachment would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating Ferguson.
