Summerland's Seedy Saturday will be held on Saturday, March 25 at the Summerland Ornamental Gardens.
The popular community event features organic seed growers, bedding plants and farmers market vendors of local produce and agricultural products.
There will be a seed swap table with free seeds, with attendees being encouraged to bring seeds to give away.
Master gardeners will be onsite to answer gardening questions and problems.
Friends of the Gardens will also be hosting five workshops, aimed at novice gardeners.
They include water wise gardening, grooming and cleaning grasses, composting, butterfly gardens and planting early vegetables. There is a suggested entrance $5 fee for the entire day, which runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
