The City of Penticton has confirmed the water main break has been repaired and is back in service.
Westminster Ave. is still closed eastbound at Winnipeg as crews clean up but is expected to open shortly.

Six businesses are without water in downtown Penticton as the result of a water main break.
The problem was discovered early Wednesday morning on the 100 block of Westminster Ave, between Martin St. and Winnipeg. The eastbound lane of Westminster is blocked, with a detour south down Winnipeg Street.
The City of Penticton has recently begun public outreach on how to address a looming infrustrure deficit, to pay for maintenance and crumbling roads and old pipes.
