A Penticton man was arrested and charged after threatening another man with a knife during a fight in the city, last week.
Cpl. Don Wrigglesworth said officers were called out to a report of two men fighting, apparently over rent one of them owed, on Orchard Avenue at about 1:20 p.m. on Oct. 14.
The victim was located by officers on Padmore Avenue and the accused was found in the vicinity of the Penticton Library.
The men were not co-operative with the police, and the man who was wielding the knife was subsequently charged with assault with a weapon.
This incident follows a reported stabbing at the 24/7 Convenience Store on Main Street on Oct. 7.
