Small quake near border

A small 2.2 magnitude earthquake has struck in the South Okanagan. 

According to Natural Resources Canada, the quake shook 39 kilometres southeast of Penticton at about 1:30 a.m. Monday morning.

There were no reports that the quake was felt in the area.  

The quake comes after Saturday's 4.0 magnitude earthquake in the South Okanagan.

No damage was reported after the tremor hit at 9:16 a.m. east of Oliver and was felt across the region, from Bridesville in the east and as far north as Lake Country.
