Ice cream shop smashed

A popular destination for Okanagan ice cream lovers was damaged by vandals overnight.

The operators of Tickleberry’s ice cream parlour in Okanagan Falls reported on Facebook this morning that their gift shop had been seriously damaged by an apparent vehicle collision with the building.

A wall was pushed in by the force of the impact, scattering debris inside the shop and leaving broken glass from the vehicle all over the ground.

The owners asked customers to be on the lookout for an SUV with a broken back window.

Photos on Tickleberry’s show the destruction inside and out at the popular tourist spot on Highway 97.

Although not confirmed by police, the proprietors say two people smashed the gift shop and did “horrific damage."
