Robottis' case in court

The case concerning a brother and sister charged in the death of Osoyoos Indian Band member Roxanne Louie continues to move ahead in Penticton court.

Grace Robotti, 65, is charged with the second-degree murder of  Louie and Pier Robotti, 61, is charged with interference with a dead body and accessory after the fact to murder.

On Wednesday, Crown counsel Kevin Fotty said disclosure including 2,250 pages of information and 40 hours of audio recording had gone through.

The next step will be an arraignment hearing and pre trial conference to discuss such matters as the number of witnesses and details of a preliminary inquiry.

The case had been set over to today, Wednesday, to get the disclosure to the defence. James Pennington is representing Grace and Robert Maxwell is representing Pier.

Louie, 26, was reported missing in early January after failing to show up at Penticton Regional Airport for a flight back to Vancouver.

A search ended with the discovery of her body in the Naramata-Chute Lake area.

The Robottis were in custody after turning themselves in, but have since been released on bail.

There was a large contingent of Louie supporters in court. Laurie Wilson, a spokeswoman for the family, said they will continue to show that support and that it will only get bigger.

The matter was adjourned to the trial coordinator to fix a date for the arraignment and pre-trial conference
