Rally for Roxanne Louie

Another rally for Roxanne Louie will be held at the Penticton courthouse this Wednesday, Jan. 28.

The gathering is timed to take place on the same day, Grace Robotti, 65, and Pier Robotti, 61, the brother and sister allegedly involved in her death, make a court appearance by video.

"It is just to keep her face in people's minds," said Louie family spokeswoman Laurie Wilson. "To ensure justice is going to be done."

Louie, a 26-year-old single mother, was reported missing in early January after failing to show up at Penticton Regional Airport for a flight back to Vancouver.

A search ended with the discovery of her body between Naramata and Chute Lake, according to Wilson. The RCMP has not confirmed where the discovery was made.

Grace Robotti was subsequently charged with second-degree murder in the death of Louie, while Pier Robotti was charged with being an accessory after the fact and indignity to a body.

The first rally for justice for Louie, an Osoyoos Indian Band member who lived in Vancouver, was held at the Robotti's court appearance on Jan. 15 in Penticton.

Everyone is invited to attend the upcoming rally, starting at 10 a.m., on Wednesday, said Wilson.
