A driver is fortunately in good condition after losing control of her car and ending up beneath Watermans Hill near Okanagan Falls.
A witness told Castanet the car veered off the highway between 1:15 p.m. and 1:30 p.m., barrelling down the hill before landing in the lake on its wheels.
Okanagan Falls Fire Chief Bob Haddow says fire crews were able to get to the driver with their Zodiac boat and take her to a waiting ambulance. He says her injuries were not life-threatening.
It is not known at this time what caused the woman to lose control of her vehicle.
RCMP and tow crews were on the scene this afternoon, and shortly after 4 p.m. the vehicle was pulled from the lake.
