Residents across the RDOS with regular garbage collection on Thursday will not receive trash collection on Christmas and New Year's Day.
Residents in Penticton with regular Thursday collection and residents in Oliver, West Bench, Sage Mesa and Red Wing will have their collection day shifted to Saturday during the holidays.
Residents in these areas with collection on Thursday Dec. 25 and Jan. 1 will get pickup on Saturday Dec. 27 and Jan. 3. Regular collections for these areas resume Jan. 8.
Residents in Summerland and Princeton with Thursday collection will be moved to Friday.
In these municipalities, Thursday collection areas will be collected on Friday Dec. 26 and Jan. 2.
Please check with your local collection calendar for recycling collection dates.
All other collection days remain the same including Friday Dec. 26. If you are visiting a local landfill over the holidays please check to ensure the days of operation as some may be closed on specific days.
