Peachland brush fire

1:10 p.m. update: A spark from a wood stove in a shed is the reason Peachland firefighters were called to a house on Bulyea Ave. in Peachland Monday.
The fire was spreading up the hill and was within metres of a nearby vineyard when firefighters arrived.
The fire is now under control with no damage to structures in the area.
Fire crews are on scene at a suspected brush fire that broke out south of Peachland shortly after noon Monday .
The fire is sending a column of smoke into the air and emergency vehicles have been spotted rushing to the area.
Reporters are headed to the scene now. Information will be released as it becomes available.
