Aug 22, 2013 / 8:31 am
A serious car accident in the South Okanagan has sent at least two people to hospital.
The accident occurred shortly before 8:30 p.m. last night on Highway 3A, just past the Twin Lakes store between Keremeos and Kaleden.
According to witnesses, a black car travelling eastbound was driving erratically and passing other motorists when the driver lost control and crashed.
A young female was taken to Penticton hospital on a stretcher and a young man was taken also taken to hospital, followed by a police car.
The Kaleden Fire Department responded to the scene and say the vehicle rolled "many, many times" and was barely distinguishable.
The area where the crash happened is on a new stretch of pavement with no major curves and the fire department says this is the second major crash in that area over the past five days.
