Grass fire contained

The fire burning near Richter Pass has been 100 per cent contained, but is still burning at a size of nearly 15 hectares says Fire Information Officer Michaela Swan.
There has been no significant growth since last night, and residents of the six homes that were temporarily evacuated last night have been allowed to return home.
The specific cause of the fire remains under investigation, but it is believed to be caused by humans.
Fire investigators will be on site this morning to determine the exact cause.
At it's peak, there were 35 firefighters, two helicopters and five airtankers working to battle this fast moving grass fire.
Update: 7:30 p.m.: A tactical evacuation has been issued for several residents living in Kilpoola Estates near Richter Pass.
An aggressive grass fire has grown to 12 hectares in size.
Fire Information officer Michaela Swan says in addition to the nine initial attack members on on scene, 20 more are en route.
Air tankers are still on scene and working to extinguish the flames.
No structures have been damaged at this time.
Forestry is on scene of an aggressive grass fire burning near Richter Pass in Osoyoos.
Fire Information officer Michaela Swan says five air tankers have been called out along with two initial attack crews to assess the blaze.
It is believed to be two hectares in size and structures in the area are threatened. There is no evacuation order as of yet.
Castanet has a reporter headed to the scene and will provide an update as soon as possible.
