Hundreds of people filled downtown Summerland for the annual Festival of Lights.
Residents of all ages celebrated with Santa and the Grinch in sub-zero temperatures among frozen street vendors and shops that were open late for the festivities.
The annual light up happened was at 7 p.m. with fireworks scheduled for 8:30 and live music at the Bean Cafe until 9:30 tonight.
