A body was discovered behind the Super Save Gas in Penticton Monday.
According to Penticton Indian Band community member Allen Kroeger, he discovered the body inside a shed near the Super Save Gas on Green Mountain Road earlier today.
There is also unofficial confirmation from the RCMP that a body was found at that same location.
Kroeger says the man looked to be in his 30s, fair skinned and dressed kind of street wise. He says he didn't recognize him and that he wasn't any of their crew from around the area.
He also says that it looked like the man had been in a fight and had been dead for a while.
He called the RCMP, who cordoned off the area, as well as the BC Coroner.
