Freak'n Farmer is back

People are again invited to test their skills at the third annual Freak'n Farmer set for this Saturday, Sept. 20, at Covert Farms in Oliver.

This year will feature a 12K with 23 obstacles, a half plowed 5K with 10 obstacles, a Freak'n Little Farmer 3K and Mini Freak'n Farmer 1K.

There are expected to be 320 participants/racers in the adventure obstacle race and hundreds of spectators.

All spectators are welcome and there is a suggested $5 donation, with all proceeds going to the South Okanagan Children's Charity.

Three shuttles will take those there to watch to obstacle areas around the farm.

The event, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., is open to all ages. It will be filmed by camera crews filming for Bouffee en Cavale, National Geographic Traveler and Shaw Cable.
