Penticton RCMP confirmed Monday that a 41-year-old motorcyclist from West Kelowna died in a motor vehicle accident on Saturday.
According to Sgt. Rick Dellebuur, the man died after his motorcycle hit the passenger side of a black Toyota Camry that was preparing to turn left, east, on to Industrial Avenue, off of Main Street.
The man was thrown from his motorcycle and succumbed to his injuries at Penticton Regional Hospital. The occupants of the other vehicle were shaken up, but otherwise unhurt.
The identity of the motorcyclist has not been released.
