Name that goat!

Andy's Animal Acres “Name the Baby Goats Contest,” is well underway.

The little baby brother and sister Nigerian Pygmy goats were born on Aug. 18 to Momma “Nana”, and Andy is searching for names.

The contest goes from now through Monday, September 1, at the end of the Labour Day Weekend, at which time all the names will be considered and the winning names chosen.

Entries can be submitted when visiting the farm and cost $1 per entry (for two names, one for each baby).  One hundred percent of proceeds from the contest are going to assist Critter Aid Okanagan.

There will be two winners, one for each name chosen, and both winners will receive a 2015 Family Pass to Andy’s Animal Acres.

Entries can only be filled out when visiting the farm, located on Three Mile Road in Penticton.

Summer hours are, weather permitting, Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The farm is closed on Saturdays and Mondays to the public but available for private groups.

General information and updates are available on Andy's Animal Acres Facebook page.
