Car crash hospitalizes at least one

A two-car crash in Penticton has sent at least one person to hospital.

A witness said the crash occurred in the merge lane on the Channel Parkway and West Warren intersection, just after 5 p.m.

It stopped traffic for at least 30 minutes before a detour was set up around the scene.

Penticton Fire Department said there were three patients in the two vehicle incident. One person was complaining of back and neck pain and was transported to Penticton Regional Hospital to be checked out.

Both vehicles were towed.
