Thieves on the prowl

During this past week the Oliver RCMP received a number of theft from vehicle complaints.  In most circumstances the stolen items were left in the open.

The RCMP reminds people to place their valuables out of sight or leave them at home.  Lock your vehicles and roll your windows up far enough so that a thief cannot put their hand inside your vehicle.

On July 21, an Oliver resident in the 400 block of Johnson Crescent reported that sometime over the preceding two weeks, stole a Honda EU3000 generator and a Stihl MS2150 chainsaw from his garage.

Anyone with information regarding this break and enter are asked to call the Oliver RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
