Granfondo returned for the fourth year to the South Okanagan on Sunday.
The 4th annual Prospera Granfondo Axel Merckx Okanagan returned to Penticton this weekend.
By 7 a.m. several roads were congested with cyclists and the temperature was already over 20 degrees Celsius. By noon it had crested 30.
Participants could choose from the 55-kilometre Cortofondo, the 92-kilometre Mediofondo, or the full 160-kilometre Granfondo.
The PGAMO ride rolls through Penticton, Summerland, Okanagan Falls, Oliver, and Kaleden before returning to Penticton's Gyro Park for finish line festivities.
For participants and to browse the Cycling Expo, and pick up packages, head to the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre for the Package Pick Up and Trade Show.
