Theft from liquor store

The Oliver RCMP responded to a hold-up at Spud's Liquor Store on Main Street Sunday.

While en route, officers were told the lone male suspect had run northbound up Main Street.

He was described as standing approximately 5 foot, 10 inches tall and weighing around 260 pounds. The man was wearing a black ski mask, white pants, a black t-shirt with the Playboy Bunny logo on it and he had a large black bag.

The thief stole a quantity of cash from the till and fled once the panic alarm went off.

No weapon was seen being used in the robbery.

The suspect was not found by police, and the RCMP is seeking the public's assistance in locating the man.

Any information can be forwarded to the Oliver Detachment at (250) 498-3422 or anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
