Brush fire near Oliver

A brush fire began in the hills near Oliver Friday night.

The Oliver Fire Department was called out around 10 p.m. Friday night for a brush fire near Wolf Cub Creek.

The fire, burning about 15 kilometres out of town on Osoyoos Indian Band land, was out of the city's jurisdiction.

No structures are near the fire and smoke is still visible on the hillside.
