Staff working at the Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy in Penticton were badly shaken, following a gunpoint robbery Thursday morning.
Police say a man in disguise entered the store around 10 a.m. He brandished a firearm, and made off through the back door with an undisclosed amount of money and prescription pills.
He was wearing:
- a white bandana with a black design
- sunglasses
- a black ball cap with the insignia of a white skull
- baggy jeans
- grey hoodie.
An employee, who was not there at the time, said there were two people working at the time.
An RCMP K9 unit was able to track the suspect for several blocks before losing the scent.
