B & E arrests

The police have arrested two people for a series of break and enters in the south Okanagan.

The RCMP has arrested 32-year-old Michael Scott Miller and 33-year-old Angela Michelle Gauthier, both of no fixed address, for multiple break and enters and thefts committed in both Osoyoos and Oliver.

The pair allegedly went on a crime spree, in which they are accused of entering businesses and homes and stole valuables including tools, antiques and liquor.

The thefts were brazenly committed during daylight hours, according to the police, which ultimately led to the two being identified by witnesses and later located by police while they were still in possession of many of the stolen items.

The two appeared April 28 in Penticton court, where they were released on conditions while awaiting trial.

They have a condition to remain out of Osoyoos and Oliver.
