Thieves target travel trailers

Osoyoos RCMP is reporting that over the last two weeks, there have been 14 break-ins to travel trailers stored in areas off of Lakeshore Drive.

Thieves are prying open doors or breaking windows to get into the trailers where they steal alcohol and small items, according to Sgt Kevin Schur.

If suspicious people are seen in the storage areas, the RCMP is asking the public to please contact the RCMP, so they can investigate.

The Osoyoos RCMP can be reached at (250) 495-7236. Or Crime Stoppers can be reached at  1-800-222-TIPS.
