Lieutenant governor visits schools

BC Lt.- Gov. Judith Guichon paid visits to Southern Okanagan Secondary School in Oliver and Osoyoos Secondary School in the South Okanagan Thursday morning.

During her time at the schools she addressed the students at assemblies, about her role as the queen's representative. Students were also invited to ask questions.

On Friday morning, Guichon will be at Uplands Elementary School In Penticton, with Mayor Garry Litke and Principal Lisa Edwards expected to attend.

She is also expected to make a stop at Giant's Head Elementary School in Summerland, as well as other locations including the Summerland RCMP detachment, Angus Place Senior Facility, Summerland Sweets and Mazza Innovations on Friday.
