Penticton RCMP say four brand new vehicles stolen from Penticton Toyota Jan 14 have now been recovered and returned to the dealership.
Sgt. Rick Dellebuur says a black 2014 Rav 4 was recovered in a parking lot in Penticton Jan 21. A woman noticed it there and discovered it still had dealer stickers in the window and matched the description police had circulated.
The following day, (Jan 22), RCMP in Kelowna recovered a grey 4 Runner in a parking lot.
The final two vehicles were also located in the Kelowna area on Friday, Jan 24.
A Blue Rav 4 was spotted in a parking lot. Later in the day a pick-up truck was found abandoned in a dense wooded area in Lake Country. The truck find led police to the discovery of the final stolen vehicle, a Bronze Toyota Tundra.
Police say all four vehicles appear to have been undamaged.
Larry Pidperyhora Jr., financial services manager at Penticton Toyota, says, "We are certainly relieved and would love to thank the RCMP for all the hard work they have done and also say thanks to people in the community who have been looking out for us since this happened."
No arrests have been made, however Dellebuur says Penticton RCMP are continuing to follow up on information and identifying suspects in hopes that arrests will be made soon.
