Third stolen Toyota found

Larry Pidperyhora, the general sales manager at Penticton Toyota, confirmed late Friday that the third stolen vehicle has been found.

Pidperyhora said a young woman called him around 3 p.m. and said the blue Rav 4 was found in the Rutland area.

He called the Penticton RCMP, and the woman called the Kelowna detachment.

The RCMP has not confirmed the find of the third vehicle.

He expects it will be returned to the dealership on Skaha Lake Road on Monday.

Four 2014 vehicles were stolen from Penticton Toyota last week. The other Rav 4 was found in Penticton on Tuesday and the dealership learned late Wednesday afternoon, the Toyota 4-Runner was located in the Rutland area.

The fourth vehicle, a bronze Tundra pick-up, is still missing.

Pidperyhora said he was pleased to get the news.

"Holy Smokes. I feel 75 per cent better than I did last week," he said. "And when they find the fourth, I will feel 100 per cent."
