The Okanagan Similkameen Regional Hospital District Board gave first reading to the 2014-2018 five year financial plan at Thursday's meeting.

The snapshot is a collection of performance indicators that can be used to show trends and conditions. This is the fourth year such a snapshot was produced for the board.

The Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association's Simone Carlysle-Smith provided the district with an opportunity to participate in a community tourism development program. The board of directors voted to form an ad hoc committee to work with the tourism association on this program.
