The Penticton council approved awarding the city hall renovations contract to Greyback Construction at a meeting on Monday morning.
The contract is in the amount of $153,562, and the work is slated to begin as soon as possible.
The renovations will see all customer direct contact services located on the main floor and other support services located on the second floor.
As well as being a one stop shop, there will be greater visibility of reception for customer assistance and better customer flow at all times of the year, particularly at peak periods.
City hall will remain open during construction to serve the community, said communications officer Simone Blais.
