Tradition Continues For KSS Curlers

After a six-year hiatus, curling has returned to Kelowna Secondary School on a winning note.

The home of provincial gold-medal winners in 1974 (boys) and bronze medalists in 1999 (girls), KSS added the Okanagan Valley boys’ pennant to the school’s showcase on the weekend in Kamloops.

Grade 10 skip, Ramsay Murray, led the Owls to the Valley title as he and rinkmates Logan Miron (third - Grade 10), Ewan Murray (second - Grade 10) and Cam Bridge (lead - Grade 12) defeated the defending-champion Valleyview Vikes of Kamloops in back-to-back games on Sunday to earn a berth at the B.C. School Sports championship in Creston Feb. 19-21.
