While the Kelowna Owls had to settle for second place overall in the province for a third straight year, they did boast the top player in B.C. — according to a Vancouver Province newspaper poll.
Howard Tsumura of The Province polled CIS head coaches in B.C. who selected the Owls’ Devon Cote as the 2014 player of the year.
The Grade 12 power hitter, who has committed to playing with the UBC Okanagan Heat beginning next fall, is one of three Owls on the senior boys “Super 15 Class of 2014-15.
