Despite losing just one of four games and outscoring their opponents 12-7, the Kelowna Tommy Gun’s Rockets had to settle for fifth place at their own bantam tier 1 tournament on the weekend.
The Kelowna Minor Hockey Association representatives dropped a 2-1 decision to the Langley Eagles in the tournament opener at Memorial Arena, and that proved the difference between a possible medal and not even making the playoff round.
