UBCO Resumes Exhibition Play

A split of two UBC Okanagan Heat pre-season matches in Calgary had women’s head coach Claire Paterson in a positive frame of mind upon the team’s return to Kelowna.

“It was another good road trip for the team,” said Paterson after the Heat’s 2-0 win over the Mount Royal Cougars and a 3-0 loss at the hands of the Calgary Dinos. “We definitely saw improvements from our first weekend of exhibition play as the players are now getting more comfortable with each other and the style we want to play.”
