Sun Set Tone In Kamloops

Led by Dillon Fortune’s second straight 100-plus game, the Okanagan Sun topped the 300-yard mark rushing for the first time this season on the way to a 54-16 win over the previously unbeaten Kamloops Broncos on Saturday.

Fortune carried the ball nine times, including a spectacular 30-yard touchdown ramble in the Sun’s 27-point second quarter that gave the visitors at Hillside Stadium at comfortable 26-10 lead.

The Sun, improving to 4-1 on the season and taking over first place in the B.C. Junior Football Conference, utilized seven ballcarriers on the way to accumulating 333 yards along the ground.
