Vecchio Offensive Player Of The Week

The B.C. Football Football Conference has given much of the credit for the Okanagan Sun’s 439 total yards against the Vancouver Island Raiders on Saturday to the team’s offensive line — in particular, Michele Vecchio.

The 19-year-old Sun sophomore has received the nod as the BCFC’s offensive player of the week. That’s after the graduate of the Rutland Secondary School Voodoos, and his O-line teammates helped clear the way for the Canadian Junior Football League team to rack up 257 yards along the ground and another 182 in the air on the way to a 38-0 victory over the visiting Raiders.
