Apple Triathletes Converge On Downtown

Nearly 1,200 local, provincial, national and international triathletes of all ages and stages will be competing in the 32nd annual Pushor Mitchell Apple Triathlon beginning on Friday.

To make it a safe and pleasurable experience for participants, about 1,100 volunteer positions support the athletes through the three-day event.

As of 4 p.m. on Tuesday, 104 bike marshals and 36 run marshals were still needed for Saturday and Sunday.
