OK Rockets Open ID Camp Thursday

At first blush, it would appear this season’s Okanagan Rockets’ odds of matching the performance of the 2013-14 edition are extremely low.

With less than a handful of players from the roster that garnered a bronze medal at the national midget championship (Telus Cup) in the spring expected to return, general-manager David Michaud and new head coach Simon Ferguson have a major rebuilding job ahead.

The B.C. Major Midget Hockey League team’s reconstruction — which really began the day the team claimed the bronze in Moose Jaw — will take on a more concrete form beginning on Thursday.
