Okanagan Ringette Players Make Impact

A demanding year-long process has produced a B.C. Canada Games ringette team that includes eight players from the Thompson-Okanagan area.

Kelowna’s Colette Chorney and Riley Pickrell of West Kelowna will be joined by Vernon’s Erin Banning, Teigan Moore, Megan Weatherill and Melanie Wakutz, as well as Brooklyn Hay of Grinrod.

The Interior contingent is among 18 players from throughout the province representing B.C. at the Canada Games being held in Prince George Feb. 13 to March 1.
