Valley Volleyball Still On The Rise

The quality and quantity of volleyball talent in the Okanagan is being witnessed throughout the country this week.

More than 50 boys and girls from the Valley are competing at high-performance events, the most prestigious being the National Team Challenge Cup for 18-19-year-old boys in Gatineau, Que. and the 18-and-under girls in Winnipeg.

Devon Cote (Kelowna Secondary School), Isaac Smit (Okanagan Mission SS and Thompson Rivers University), Tyler Pomeitlarz (KSS and Thompson Rivers) and Lars Bornemann (UBC Okanagan Heat) are playing for Team B.C. at the NTCC Cup in Gatineau.
