Raiders Take Lacrosse Series Lead

Kelowna Raiders lived up to their No. 1 ranking during the regular season by defeating the Armstrong Shamrocks 15-11 in the first game of their Thompson Okanagan Senior C Men’s Lacrosse League final series on Tuesday.

Slogging in sweltering 40 degree-plus heat at Kelowna Memorial Arena, the Raiders received three-goal performances from rookie Patrick McMillan and sniper Cory Siegner en route to the Game 1 victory in the best-of-three Shaw Cup final series.
